Many Christians today are martyrs and are bravely dying for the faith they have. According to IJ Review, “First, the Christians are forced to their knees, then the spokesperson for the terrorists holds up his knife…” (Charters). Although Christians are not being put in death camps, they are still facing religious persecution worldwide. Faith is really hard to maintain in this day and age as persecution increases more and more. As all the bad news keeps spreading like wildfire, one could ask themselves why keep the faith anyway. CNN reports that, “ISIS operatives have executed two groups of prisoners, believed to be Ethiopian Christians, in Libya, according to a video released Sunday by the terror network’s media arm.” (McLaughlin).
