The Tiger Team is extremely honored to nominate Elie Brodine as April’s Phoenix of the Month. Elie is an amazing young woman. She has a growth mindset that can be seen in her classroom habits and personal writings. In her narrative entitled "Coming to Kemps Landing," she recalls dreaming about being accepted into a school for innovative learners. She understood that middle school would be tough, but did not worry. She had a strong desire to learn as much as possible. This is definitely evident in all she does. Elie is studious and a self-starter. She does not let challenges deter her from any mission.
