Eleven Cisneros Analysis

Each story written has a “coming of age” sense to it. In “Eleven”, Cisneros states that the girl became older as each year went by, and now she is eleven years old. In “Same Song”, the girl and boy grow older and show changes in their schedule. It also infers that the mother is a bit sad, and that the teens used to not act this way.
