Transcripts During my time at Lemoore High School I have maintained a B+ Average, I have been labeled as a “Conscientious Student”. I was challenged by language classes such as, English and Spanish. Freshman year I received my first B’s in both subjects. I then was able to figure out how to better myself in classes and to maintain good grades, but the second semester of junior year I received a D in English 3AP.…
Grades are my top priority in school. In the last quarter I believe I have a praiseworthy GPA of 3.8. I know my grades and performance in school is a majority of the way I am judged on, also my personality. I take pride in who I am and how I am seen to my peers and elders. My community represents who I am and by helping…
On August 24, 2008, I began my first year of college at Tidewater Community College (TCC) pursuing a science associate degree and changed my major to applied associate of science with a concentration in Administrative of Justice. For the six semesters, I continually maintained a 3.0 or better GPA along with being apart of the Dean’s List twice. However, my last semester I had failed to uphold my academic commitment due to working full-time to support my myself financially through school. I was not able to effectively manage my time. Therefore, my overall GPA become out to be a 2.9 upon graduation.…
Needless to say my grades improved from this. I also began to be more interactive in my school by joining several clubs like Garland High School Marching M.O.B (Mighty Owl Band) and became more active in my community by volunteering to help local schools and soup kitchens such as Life Message. I 'm only young and in high school once so I decided to dedicate some time to making memories helping my school and local community. While it has been extremely difficult and has required extreme time management, I wouldn 't want to live my life any other way right…
Growing up as a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant was difficult. My parents had little education. They spoke no English and had no understanding of the American culture. Nevertheless, they raised my sister and I the best they could. I was fortunate to have immigrated at the young age of 3.…
I am writing to appeal my Faculty Scholarship at Our Lady of The Lake University. In my first semester of 2014-2015 academic school year I obtained a GPA of 1.76. Regardless of the difficulties I had transitioning from high school to college, I admit, my GPA being that low is my entire fault. In the fall I simply did not know what it took to be a successful college student.…
Through countless hours of studying and many sleepless nights, I have successfully been able to maintain a 4.0 grade point average since the letter grading system was introduced in the seventh grade. Along with grades, I was deeply involved in athletics as well; competing in football and basketball throughout my time at Jenks High School. I know first hand how challenging it can be…

Because I am good at English I am naturally bad at math. My math lessons took a long time to complete so, I felt like I was missing out on fun activities. But, whenever I made a mistake it made me want to try harder. My grade was a B-.…
During the first few weeks of junior year, I was put under the most stress that I have ever experienced in my life. The workload from all my AP classes was never ending and there was an enormous amount of studying to be done. I usually went to sleep around one or two in the morning during the school week due to the accumulation of swim, studying, volunteering, and school related activities. Whenever I went to school, I had difficulties focusing because I was extremely exhausted. After just a month of school, I had only one A,the rest were C’s and B’s.…
1)List any volunteer, extracurricular activities, or work experience in which you have been involved in the past two years. In the past two years I have helped the community in various ways. I have a passion for helping people and making a difference, I enjoy it because I believe little things you do for others will be returned as a favor to someone else and eventually the world will become a better place. To start off ever since I was young, I would volunteer at Saint Emydius church organizing events and having sales to give the money out to charity.…
Last semester I wasn't very satisfied with my grades , I end it up having grades that were very disappointed to me. This semester my grades are decent they aren’t fantastic but they decent. This semester I have had so many absences because of the personal problems that have been happening this year. My PBS points have been low but I have been getting more than 20 so I'm on the right track.…
With a Grade Point Average, or GPA, of 4.0 in my Fall semester, an overall GPA of 3.8, and a SAT score of 1310, I believe my grades are relatively good. Lowell High School is a school known for its academics in San Francisco. Some people even believe that the students at Lowell High School only breath, eat, and sleep math equations or textbooks, but with it being my place of education for 3+ years, I am able to balance both my studies and my social life, contradicting the stereotype placed on my school. Being able to maintain my grades at a high standard while still enjoying my years as a youth, I was never stressed, which led to my higher productivity level at school. My parents also never placed any high expectations on me.…
Three years into my high school I hadn't gotten into the state of mind that most over achievers have. I had floated through high school thinking I was trying my very hardest to get good grades and become a consistently studious candidate of my school. However, no matter how hard I tried I failed I gave into all the distractions and used all my obstacles as excuses became frustrated and developed an attitude problem that I had created myself. Being a consistent 2.5 student wasn't satisfying or inspiring. Uniquely enough, I had decided to take challenging courses my junior year.…
Many high school graduates work arduously academically but fail to prioritize the GPA and other credits those are necessary to graduate. While some other high school students don’t want to risk failing which could mean summer classes or another year of high school. Academic problems often lead to a loss of scholarships or grants and may result in having to repeat classes to earn needed credits. The third factor is, not surprisingly, financial difficulties.…
