Within the Bahamas, at 25*N and 75*20*W, is Eleuthera and Harbour Island. Eleuthera and Harbour Island is located northeast of Abacos Island and northwest of Cat Island. Harbour Island is within the Bahamas Island range, south east of Florida and east of Cuba. This island range is perfect for tropical vacations and growing tropical fruits. Eleuthera and Harbour Island divides clear, warm water from dark, cool ocean water, which actually looks pretty cool. The island is almost covered entirely with pineapple fields, being the islands top export. One of Eleuthera’s main features is it’s pink beach which is insanely popular with tourists. Eleuthera and Harbour Island is the perfect place for someone who loves the warm sun and year round heat. The reason for this the Eleuthera and Harbour Island is pretty close to the Equator, meaning that is gets almost direct sunlight all year long.
Being an island and separated from others, boats are the main form of transportation, but on the islands, it’s not uncommon to see people riding around on golf carts. Golf carts are effective on Eleuthera and Harbour Island because its not too big, a common saying is, “Your only a few minutes away from the beach,” the island is only about two miles long. While not being physically connected to all other Bahaman Islands Eleuthera and Harbour Island stays in close contact with the other islands, only being about a fifteen-minute boat ride between islands. The tourism also holds extreme importance to Eleuthera and Harbour Island. People will come to the Bahamas to see its famous beaches and views, bringing in a lot of income to its government and people
