Elements Of The Learning Center: A Positive Christian Environment

The learning Center displays a positive Christian environment. The elements of the infant room support them developmentally through having an environment where each infant has their own sleeping space. According to Freeman, Decker & Decker (2013) children should be able to rest comfortably and undisturbed. The infant room is divided into two rooms as the children are separated by ages. This is done for safety reasons as well as developmental. The equipment supports the infant’s emotional well-being and stimulating their sensory and challenges their motor skills (Freeman, Decker

The process of the intervention began with a total of one hundred and fourteen 11th graders, twenty-four of which were male and ninety of which were female, with an average age of sixteen. The six infant simulators used for the study were developed by Rick Jurmaine, an aeronautics engineer. To make the infant simulators more realistic he made them weigh…

Another policy that supports development and play is the physical development policy at nursery, which says physical play and development are to be encouraged. This policy ensures that children have access to physically challenging activities in the indoor and outdoor areas within the nursery. This means that there should be physically challenging equipment, games and activities available that are suitable for all the children at the nursery, which means there should be equipment suitable for children aged 0 to 1 years 11 months, aged 2 to 2 years 11 months and children aged 3 to 5 years. For the children aged 0 to 1 year 11 months, simple activities like walking and running can be a challenge so games of chase with a practitioner can encourage and support the children to run and play, which in turn teaches them to be careful whilst running, or they will fall over. For children aged 2 to 2 years 11 months, a slide…

Parents enjoy this opportunity to see their child's progress and also share any concerns or information about home progress. We make sure to have all information about a child and their routine before they start at the setting and do our best to follow their routine. This helps us to understand the child better, help them to settle in and make sure that attachments are formed by responding to each child's individual needs and…

I chose this topic to research because I am an aspiring Neonatal Intensive-Care Unit (NICU) Nurse. Neonatal nursing is a subspecialty of nursing that works with newborn infants that are born with a variety of problems right after birth (What Is Neonatal Nursing?). To successfully pursue this career, I must understand the process of birth, and how the infant develops. Pregnancy lasts for approximately 40 weeks, but it is possible to have the baby sooner or even later than the due date (Labor & Delivery, BabyCenter).…

Karen B. Tye’s book, Basics of Christian Education, explains how context is everything. The setting, topic, atmosphere, and multiple other factors go into what makes the context. Context is very important when it concerns explicit, the implicit, and null curriculum. This is where emotions, relationships, and individual qualities come together to create an educational experience. The explicit curriculum discusses how many individuals put so much concentration on pleasing the church when the only one you should be pleasing is the Holy One.…
