Elements Of A Video Artifact

My video highlights a deep aspect of my project topic because it shows how useful smart things are and how it can improve one’s home. It can allow people to actually turn their lights off right from their smartphone and they don’t have to manually turn them off. Also, my video artifact accomplished one of the requirements, which was that it “Provided insight into a beneficial and/or harmful effect of the innovation”. This is because it showed how it can be used and what it’s impact on society is. Also, it displayed how it can change the lives of many people by making it easier for them. If someone forgets to shut their garage door or to lock their house, they can now lock their house or close their garage door right from their smartphone. Smart things, as shown in my video, can change the world and have a positive impact on society. …show more content…
I made sure I put transitions in the video itself, and created a five second title screen expressing my innovation topic, Smart Things. Some of the computing tools that I utilized to create my video artifact are Windows Movie Maker, youtube editor, and other software. The video came out to be exactly one minute and I had my father be the actor to shows someone being engaged in using smart things, and my mother held the camera in order to record the video. I also had my dog to interview about my innovation topic. There were two parts of the video, one that shows someone using the innovation and the other part, which provides interviewing someone about what they think of the particular
