During this moment, the dancers are entering and exiting- dancing with each other in trios and quartet. I use Trudy Blue (Rosco 78, Figure B) in the heads, the lilac mids and Full C.T Blue (Lee 201, Figure B) in the low shins, and the high side gobo. The Trudy blue works well with the brown-gray color of the costumes and supports the somber mood. The combination of the Full C.T Blue in the shins and the lilac mids offers the cool feeling of night, while still having enough light to see the dancers. The combination of these colors, and the angle of the gobo give this moment a very mysterious yet organic and natural feel. This moment may take place in a moonlit forest, the forest floor dappled with moonlight offering just enough visibility to see where one is going but not make out what is in the shadows. At the end of this section the music because more energetic with the dancers forming a group with a soloist downstage of them. To generate the feeling of community and unity- most of the choreography in this section is done in unison. I chose to use Coral Amber (Apollo 7650) in the top light, Trudy Blue in the head highs, lilac in the mids, No Color Straw (Rosco 06) in the high shins, and the high side gobo.
