In my past I have not being the most self-disciplined person; however, it is my goal to self-discipline myself to become organized. A few actions that I decided to take to help me steadily reach my goal are to put things away right then instead of saving it for later and forgetting to do so, to write down everything before I forget, and to make copies of things like homework sheets that have to be turned in or important papers that have to be kept. The one action that I decided to do for the 32-day commitment was to make a to do list meaning that every day I have something to do I write in on my list and check each item off as it gets done. I think the most challenging part about doing this 32-day commitment will be not wanting to write things…
Written Assignment Unit 4 A self-directed, intrinsically motivated, active learner is someone who has a passion for learning and derives joy from learning. This is a person who seeks out opportunities to participate in discussions and debates and can assist others through demonstrating or explaining what they have learned. This is a person who will take responsibility for their lifelong learning and will seek out various venues to support, clarify and enhance what they learn.…
I believe that there is a present stereotype that becoming familiar with time management and organization requires an individual to set self-restraining routine to complete daily tasks. As a result, this causes them to give up the finer things. This presumption alone could prompt someone to consider that highly organized people are uninteresting, uptight, “neat-freaks” who are always striving to be perfect in everything they do and are too preoccupied to pay attention to anything else. However, I have to disagree. I see getting rid of spontaneity and acquiring these abilities as a stepping stone towards a more productive and enjoyable life.…
Hi Jaunita! Like you, learning to manage my time seems most challenging. It appears when I believe I have a schedule all planned out there is some task given that has to be done “right away” that often sets me back. It appears to be a never ending cycle, but learning to cope with these setbacks and having a go too back up plan helps.…
One of the most difficult things so many people try to do is fit 26 hours into one day. In fact, it's completely impossible. Yet still, by the looks of so many to-do lists, people obviously try. If you've gotten to the end of a day and wondered where it went, you're not alone in this sentiment. Your natural conclusion might involve the desire to get hired help.…
To whom it may concern: This letter is to request my reinstatement to University of Maryland University College. My poor academic performance was not just a bad reflection of myself but also of what knowledge I should have been able to show I learned from taking intriguing classes. I have never been a person to give up and usually go full force with anything I would like to pursue. This may not be the best description; however, I believe I may have hit my own version of a mid-life crisis.…

Great post! I am a sequence, precision, confluence in use first and technical reasoning as use as needed. I love to be organized because I to find that being organized helps to make life a lot easier and functional. Unlike Samantha I am not frazzled by unplanned events, I roll with the punches I like at these moments as a learning opportunity and a fun way to shake things up and to keep me on my toes. Making my life choices that much more understandable being a pre-school teacher my days are filled with change, tears, laughs and giggles.…
A huge barrier I view to obtaining my MSW degree is the negative experiences I endured when I was a child. However, I have become a resilient person because of these events and I have also learned how to remain objective. This could be considered a barrier because it could impact me pursuing my master’s degree in social work. As a result of a negative childhood, there are times I suffer from a negative self-image. This may impact my studies because I may experience self-doubt and question my abilities.…
In my case, I need to plan more accordingly and to not leave tasks to the last minute. This seems easy, even for the most inexperienced individual. One way that I could plan more accordingly would have to deal with a personal planner, In this personal planner I plan to write every little task that is pending during my entire week. No matter how big or how small the task is, it will be on my planner.…

I learned to be organized at very younger age in my personal life, school and work. When I was younger, my dad would throw my shoes way if I did not put them where they belong. Being well organized has helps me out at work. I recently switched roles at work and took on a project that has been in disarray for the last five years. I started by organizing what needs to be done and give myself timeframes.…

At the same time I feel as if my school work load is so high I can never get ahead or feel on top of all my responsibilities in life. My first semester of graduate school had been rough, but I made it through and was very proud I had. However, throughout my first semester I had deeply cut my social relationship time with my partner and my friends, stopped going to the gym entirely, and lost the majority of my weekends to educational reading and assignments. I learned I needed to prepare and organize my time even more efficiently than I already did. For the second semester I sat down with my partner and planned out every single week from the food we were going to eat, events we were going to attend, dates we were going to go on, and workouts we were going to take part in.…
