Should Electronic Devices Be Allowed In Schools Essay

Thesis Statement:
“Electronic devices should not be allowed in classrooms because it can greatly influence a student’s ability to stay focused while in school (attention span  distractions), while also electronic devices in the classroom can greatly hinder a student’s ability to fully engage and properly interact with others, which can lead to other more serious and complex issues down the road (lack of participation  isolation  possible mental health issues). And finally, heavy technology use is not as intellectually stimulating for young minds - or any mind, really - as one might hope it would be: artificial intelligence vs. common sense—go figure!” ~ Sandra.

I. All schools should enforce a “no-use” zone for all electronic devices in classrooms - with certain exceptions of course - for reasons that can not only hinder a child’s ability to stay focused while in class, but that it can also lead to other more problematic areas that could possibly affect a child’s learning potential, as well.
