Growing up as a child and even my parents growing up the government played a major role in all our lives “Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names” famous words by our 35th president John F. Kennedy born May 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, Massachusetts. An interesting about him was that he had joined the navy and received a purple heart for his actions as a lieutenant. Just 3 short years after his presidency John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald who opened fire on the motorcade as it passed the Texas School Book Depository.
I chose this topic Because it caused a huge impact on most people’s lives of all ages i didn’t want to be in this just to witness the murder or be the one involved but to witness the reaction some saw it on tv and others saw it in person. The people mourned over the tragic death of the beloved president and that day as many tragic days will never be forgotten. This topic is an important event to me cause i want to see how people would react and if someone could have stopped it and changed it for the better how would america be america be affected by that today? Many questions run through my mind and how that day influenced many things today.

Because i feel as tho if there was cameras within the building they could have caught the culprit when and if it was or wasn’t Lee Harvey Oswald. Just two short days after the arrest of Oswald he was shot while he was being escorted in a Dallas police department basement by a man named Jack Ruby. Jack ruby was later sentenced to death by electric chair another way electricity played a major role during this Date and time and this happened to be the first televised courtroom verdict ever broadcasted on
