Electric Cars Are electric cars better than gas cars? There are over one million electric cars. Electric cars have an interesting and are very beneficial. There are many difference in between the popular gas car and electric cars. The electric car became practical until 1870s or later. The first car was made in 1884. A Scottish inventor, Robert Anderson, came up with the idea of an electric car. An American, Thomas Davenport, is credited with building the first electric car. A known electric car is called the Tesla. The Tesla was made by Nikola Tesla. The first Tesla car was made in 2008, The Tesla Roadster. One fact about the electric car is that the government will pay you to drive an electric car. The electric car produces less pollution. The electric car also uses less energy. It has health benefits for people and animals. Because electric motors react quickly, EVs are very responsive and have very good torque.
Electric cars and gas cars differ in many ways. You can save more money on an electric car than gas cars. A person driving about 15,000 miles per year pays about $540.00 per year. When you buy an electric car, the government will give you money back. The electric car accelerates faster than a gas car. The Tesla Model S P100D 'Ludicrous Plus’ takes 2.3 seconds to go 0-60. When driving an electric car, you can go up to 200 miles or more per battery charge. The electric car is cheaper to maintain than gas. The best part about electric cars is you can fill up/recharge at home! You also don’t need to wait at a gas station. The time it takes to charge an electric car battery can take as little as 30 minutes or up to 12 hours. This time depends on the size of the battery, and the speed of the charging point. It is proven that electric car do in fact last longer than gas cars. The electric car does not produce as much gases like the gas car
