When the election of 1932 began, people were in desperate need of a new President. America, had great disdain toward President Herbert Hoover, and were tired of Republicans running the show. They wanted a democratic President who would take action and help our country get back onto its feet, the only man who could meet those expectations was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The Election of 1932 was such a turning point because the majority of American's loved F.D.R because of what he promised.
