Eleanor's Fifth Day-Personal Narrative

It was the fifth day of summer for Bridget, Millie, and Eleanor. It was sunny with a chance of rain on May 27th. Eleanor hadn’t seen her brother for the past few days, but her parents said he spent the night at Julia’s. Julia was his girlfriend, she was sweet, funny, and super nice from when Eleanor met her. Bridget, Eleanor, and Millie met up at the park to ride bikes and go check on Bradley. When they arrived at Julia’s house they heard a loud BANG, like a door had just been slammed shut. They started to worry, they rang the doorbell and Julia answered, but said, “Bradleys not here, sorry. He went to go get some food.” So they rode bikes for more time. Millie, Eleanor, and Bridget told each other everything. They were best friends, their …show more content…
When they got home, they realized that Bradley’s car was in the garage. “HE’S HOME”, cried Bridget. The girls went inside to say “hi” to him, but when they got inside Eleanor’s mom was teary eyed. “Your brother got beat up”, said her mom. “By who”, said Millie. “Julia, out of all people”, said Bradley. Bradley had a heart of gold and would never hurt Julia like that, in fact, just earlier that day Bradley gave her the “Best Girlfriend” award for their 1 year Anniversary. “Was that the loud BANG” said Bridget. “How did you guys hear that”, thought Bradley. “We went to check on you” described …show more content…
When he went into the room to get checked up, the doctor never would have thought that he had gotten beat up by his now ex girlfriend. The doctor said, “you will need surgery but, it will be a piece of cake”.
The next week was Nathan’s surgery. The three family’s all made matching t-shirts that said “Bradley Strong” with his favorite things on it, family, dogs, and baseball. After he went home, Eleanor’s family dog, Winston, a corgi, got up on Bradley’s bed and snuggled. Winston was truly Nathan’s best friend. Eleanor, Millie, and Bridget also wrote a note about Bradley.

Bradley, best big brother, beast at baseball, busy as a bee, and brilliant.
Bradley was in so much pain it felt as if he weighed 100 tons. When he went to hang out with his friends after he healed, they all felt sorry for him. He didn’t want them to feel sorry for him, but for Julia. She hurt someone and could hurt many more because she wants attention.
