Elder Interview Paper

Interview with an Elder Being a collegiate athlete, people would have different assumptions on how I handle my week. Some might say that my schedule is very busy Monday through Sunday. My life as a college athlete is already scheduled. They will understand why I don’t talk in class, I just take notes to the best of my ability. On the other hand, people might assume that being a football player comes with a price, which is time sacrifice. Which means that I barley have time to have fun. Goals give you a sense of purpose to reach a certain expectations to success. Setting goals will drive you forward as a sense of motivation. It will also make the best of you, it will pressure you to go harder and everything that is required to reach you goal. Fear has to be the top reason for not achieving my goal. Fear will manipulate your mind that will lead to doubt in a certain situation. A lack in self-motivation will hinder you from reaching your goal. The only person that can stop you is you. People that rely on other people to motivate them are less likely to reach their goal before a self-motivated person.

Erikson in his eight stages of personality development, he in sighted experiences through young adult and middle age. As a young adult he got married to the love of his life and had children. The example of middle age was experiencing his brother with his severe illness. It showed that the morals of hard work and determination can make you successful through any situation that you face. The difference set of idea financially was to conserve money for personal interest. Coming up in a poverty strict environment made me less likely to save money due to bills and mandatory spending. He also has similar religious beliefs as me also, showed me that walking by faith not sight is a method of a higher understanding of
