Elbridge Gerry is born on July 17, 1744 in Marblehead Massachusetts and he died on November 23, 1814 in Washington D.C. The state where he was from and represented was Massachusetts. Gerry’s occupation was a Politician. Gerry actively participated in providing sustenances to Revolutionary War. Yes, Gerry did participate in the Second Constitutional Congress. Arrived on May 29 was present through the signing of the Constitution. He chaired the committee that presented the Connecticut Compromise. Gerry did not think that the Constitution provided the best protection for the rights of any person and or the rights of the States. He refused to sign the Constitution.
