El Salvador is a very amazing country. It is located in Central America bordering the northern Pacific ocean, with the neighboring countries of Guatemala and Honduras. “El Salvador is the smallest Central American country in area, but ranks as the fourth largest country in population.” ( Put site here later, World Book! ) This country has and interesting geography, a good climate, an improving government, a weak economy, an intriguing culture, and many interesting facts that many don’t know. El Salvador’s physical geography is very interesting. The three regions El Salvador is broken up into are the Central Lowlands, the Central Region, and the Interior Highlands. The Sierra Madre is the low mountain range the runs through this country. El salvador is the second most deforested country in Latin America, after Haiti. Most of El Salvador’s water supply is contaminated, making them have one of the lowest water supplies in Latin America. In conclusion, El Salvador has an interesting physical geography. …show more content…
El Salvador is in the Tropical Dry climate zone. The temperatures there range anywhere from eighteen degrees Celsius to thirty-two degrees Celsius, or sixty-four degrees Fahrenheit to ninety degrees Fahrenheit. The seasons in El Salvador are the rainy seasons that run from May to October and the dry seasons that run from November to April. El Salvador’s average rainfall is 182 centimeters ( 72 inches ) yearly. So, don’t forget to bring an umbrella to a Summer vacation in El Salvador.
The improving government of El Salvador has a lot of interesting qualities. It is a Democratic republic government. In El Salvador the citizens vote for a president. The president has executive power of El Salvador for their 5 year term. El Salvador’s president is Mauricio Funes. The United States isn’t so different after
