With the history Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman, El Chapo, had with violence, drugs and crime, it was no surprise what the outcome of his life would be. He followed his father’s footsteps but instead of keeping it all for himself, he would help those in more need. Seeing the materialistic things and respect he would get with money and power, he used his intelligence to move up the cartel and overtime, with the help of his influences, took control of the entire Sinaloa Cartel. Wasn’t long until there was tension between the cartels and brought a lot of enemies to El Chapo’s life. The way he murders his rivals is by chopping off their heads.…

I agree with Peter Vincent about El Chapo being simple to catch. In my view, if El Chapo decided to remain public, then he was bound to be easily spotted and caught. In addition, I believe that all that heat from people exclaiming that he was so magnificent got to his head and he deemed himself untouchable. Some might object to El Chapo being simple to capture, of course, on the grounds that he still remains in the hierarchy of all drug lords. Yet I would argue that simply being a significant drug lord does not mean that you can’t make mistakes and basically turn yourself in.…

An interesting thing about Pablo Escobar is that in Colombia, he was thought of as a very nice, compassionate, and generous person, but outside of Colombia he was considered a terrible person. The reason that Pablo was loved in Colombia is because he gave money to the poor, funded soccer teams, and built hospitals. Then he had some “terror campaigns” that led to the deaths of thousands of people. These “terror campaigns” are what made society despise him. (Biography.com) Pablo was somebody that the poor children around the world could look up to, but then the people realized that his “operation” led to the deaths of thousands of innocent people.…
