“You should go to sleep. It might be a while and you have school tomorrow,” my mom says. I close my eyes and try to sleep.
I never ended up sleeping. I only rested my eyes. Finally the doctor came and he seemed extremely young, as if he had only been a doctor for a few years. I told him the whole story, from the beginning to the end. He thought that I should go and get a EKG. I don’t what it stands for or what it is but all I know is that it checks for any abnormalities within your heart.
Then we followed a nurse to perform an EKG. They stuck a bunch of suction cup things to me and had me lay on a table for a few minutes. It was really awkward. The nurse told me that I was the youngest person that she had ever given an EKG to. I guess that was supposed to make me feel special or something. It didn’t really work.

“The EKG didn’t report anything wrong with your heart. There are no abnormalities of any kind. However I scheduled an appointment at St. Peter's Hospital for more tests. I don’t read it but I assume it is about the appointment at the hospital.
“When is the appointment,” I ask.
“It is on Thursday before school,” states my mother.
“You are free to go home now. There isn’t anything else to do here,” says the doctor.
“Ok thanks,” my mom says. We then leave to go home.
It was already after midnight once we left. I told my mom that I didn’t want to go to school in the morning because I wouldn’t get a lot of sleep. She agreed and told me to call dad. I did what she said. I called my dad to say that everything is fine but I have to go to St. Peter’s Hospital before school on Thursday. The second I went home, I quickly took a shower and fell

Writing-in-Role: Holden Caulfield (the Catcher in the Rye) Selma Thurmer was Pencey’s headmaster’s daughter and seemed to possess interesting personality attributes, so I’ve decided to write about the scene where Holden talks to her on a bus in the beginning chapter of the Catcher in the Rye. Inserting scene in page three, chapter one, first paragraph: I sat next to her once in the bus from Agerstown and we sort of struck up a conversation... Personally, I wasn’t really in the mood to talk to old Selma, but I figured I’d do so because she sat right next to me on the bus.…
