A regular day at work is usually eight hours long, but some companies and or countries are cutting the hours down to six hours.When a kid is little they wait for their mommy or daddy to come home and usually the kid has to wait for eight hours for mommy and daddy time. Why would someone double the pay to work shorter shifts, but why would one take a job where you work longer for shorter pay? It all depends upon the location, the company, what the job is. If one could work for a shorter period of time why wouldn`t someone snatch that job up? It gives that someone free time to do whatever they would please such as;spending more quality time with family, going shopping with some friends, and other eventful things. It would help someone that has a large family, or someone who is in college. The job could help out a lot of people.

People work eight hours everyday and they have since,"1914 when Henry Ford changed the workday to eight hours on his assembly line."(A Six-Hour Workday Is Plenty) Henry Ford even helped double the pay so everyone should be grateful that they aren't making four dollars an hour.
In my opinion I don't see anything wrong with an eight hour day. I think six hour days should be for college students and high school students if the student wants those hours. There is plenty of different opinion mine just one of them I like what I've been making and I love my hours. It's not like us Americans are slaves begging not to get punished if we don't do something. If you don't like what you make or the job it's simple quit.
Everyone has different opinion there will always be an arguement over something. The hours we work or good for the pay we make.
