Project Background

The Itchen Royal Marina is a proposed regeneration of the Kemp’s Quay Marina, located on the River Itchen to the East of Southampton. The development comprises a new, larger marine complex with more floating berths, to accommodate up to 350 moorings; and 40 new luxury apartments in blocks of three storeys high. The development will necessitate the demolition of Kemp’s Quay Marina and the adjacent Itchen Ferry boatyard, which currently occupy the site.
