The hospital’s policy and procedure was developed to guide orientation and ongoing educational activities to assure that employees have the needed knowledge, skills and attitude. All nurses, existing and new, goes through orientations, training, and education in using Meditech, a program the hospital uses as their EHR. During an employee training and education, managers need to involve a great deal of information with employees in a limited time. For new employees, there is a requirement for them to attend two days eight hours course.
