The temples of Egypt were built more out of a place to worship, although their temples were plain looking it was more to appease the gods. By building these temples it was clear that religion was very important to the Egyptians and by building these temples they had built a home for their gods. Another purpose of the temples was to show that the pharaohs had respect from their people, it was a place to store all the pharaohs wealth and its where the pharaohs were buried. Only those who worked for the king or pharaohs could be housed in the temples. Within the temples were many rooms built it was like a castle where the public people were not allowed. The design of these temples was built to be plain as could be, it was not the looks that mattered,
