The pyramids of Egypt are said to be so large that you can see it from outer space. A theory that an English Egyptologist named I.E.S Edwards has on how the Egyptians could have possibly constructed such a large structure, was by lifting heavy weights by using ramps composed of brick and earth that sloped upwards from the ground to the height that was desired, but this theory has a lot of faults towards it, it is said that the ramp that would be required to assist in the construction of the pyramids would be more than three times as immense as the pyramid, which would possibly take just as long to build as the pyramid …show more content…
Believers of the theory that the Egyptian built the pyramids say that the pyramids were built over a Pharaoh's span in reign, for example, The Great Pyramid of Khufu was one of the largest pyramids ever built, it is 756 ft along each side and 482 ft high, with seven passages, two large chambers and two small chambers for ventilation, something this massive was said to be built over the span of 20 years with no advanced technology being used, and this seems close to impossible due to the fact that the average pyramid, 100 heavy rocks that weigh about two and a half tons each has to be carved precisely and then placed in their designated spot per hour, this sounds impossible due to the fact that each 2 and a half ton stone had to be dragged up a ramp by a great deal of the labourers which could have taken hours to do. It is estimated that there was a daily assembly rate or ten blocks per day, which would have taken 664 years to complete, when the pyramids claim to have been built in a span of roughly 20 years, this is why it is said that the extraterrestrials helped reduce the time it would take to build it by using advanced
