Egyptians believed in Pantheon their God, Isis mother goddess, and Osiris God of afterlife. In order to worship God, they sacrificed the bird as an offering to God. The facial expression of Egyptian’s man represents his faith in God. Also, he doesn’t hesitate to give the bird for sacrifice. Something that look like hands from above seem blessings from heaven to him. As a result, the relief is related with Egypt religion in historical background.
