COMPETITORS, MARKET SHARE AND MARKET POSITION OF COMPANY Firms want to succeed in being the top reliable entity in their field. In case of Egypt Foods, it believes that “It will grow within the next five years to become one of the leading companies in its field in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. There are several competitions regarding the field of food-packaging, which are Edita, Bisco Masr, and El Shamadan. Egypt Foods has increased the production capacity of the snacks and pellets in order to reach the ever increasing market demand. In terms of the other competitors, Egypt Foods is considered to be an average competitor due to some of the company’s discontinuity in its products. (Abad, 2016)

However, the number one goal for every single company, which is SUCCESS! To have a successful company, a strong marketing department should be provided. In addition, one of the main functions of the Marketing Department to Egypt Foods is packaging. Packaging is merely based on how to imprint your brand name/design into the customer’s brain. Consequently, this is achieved by having: color patterns in your design and Egypt Foods uses this by having different colors of secured bags due to their different flavors. To be more specific, they always do a research and check out other competitors’ work to keep them up to date. While from the important perspective, marketing does immensely increase the number of employment and it has been stated by Mrs. Hanaa Hamdy, who works in the purchasing department, “40% of workers in the company work in the marketing and sales department.” This reveals that marketing department is the backbone of the company, which works in the company’s. “Marketing is too important to be left to the marketing department” (David Packard, 2006). Dina Seddik, “The Company’s marketing department has no relation with other departments, but accounting.” Consequently, accounting department assists management in determining the business's profitability. Comparatively, when it comes to making a new advertisement, the accounting department determines, whether the advertisement will be utterly successful when weighed against its costs. Also, the marketing department sends every year an effective information regarding the products, which can boost the company’s profit to the Accounting Department.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN “SALES” AND “FINANCE”:

While issues between sales and finance departments may arise if the departments establish performance targets that fail to consider the other department. If the company does not find the most appealing way to allow lower-level sales and finance employees to team up, this would surely cast a shadow over the company’s success.
