Arguments Against Donald Trump

Donald Trump is an egotistical maniac that must not be president. Trump is a man so unqualified to be president that I think even a five-year-old can do a better job than he can. America has stooped so low into electing this crazy orange man that I don’t even think I can see rock bottom anymore. Trump is a sexist, racist, self-centered, egotistical baby who is only looking out for himself and throws little tantrums on Twitter whenever someone offends him. This doesn’t even scratch the surface of who this man really is. Donald Trump is, without a doubt, a sexist, bigoted, racist, who is stuck in his own universe and has the worst temperament imaginable. Trump started off his campaign with a racist statement towards Mexicans saying “They’re …show more content…
Trump likes to pride himself on how successful and rich he is but his tax returns, bankruptcies and failed business ventures show otherwise. Trump says he never loses and always win, yet his 1995 tax returns leaked by The New York Times say otherwise “Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years”. Even though Trump loves to brag about his tremendous success, his 1995 tax returns show a grave mistake in his career losing almost a billion dollars. The loss shouldn’t be too surprising, but the fact that he could have avoided taxes for the next two decades shows how much of a con artist he really is. He will not only burn this country 's economy to the ground but try to benefit from it as …show more content…

So the question must be asked; do we really want this man as our next Commander in Chief? As far as eligibility, Donald Trump meets all requirements for a presidential candidate, but many people find his actions unpresidential. This is mostly related to the crude things he has been known to see over the past couple of months. For example, speaking one day in Iowa, Donald Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose voters,” (Source 5). Donald Trump was looked down upon for this comment and definitely not the over-confidence that should be found in a President.…

Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt.…

I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

The fact that Trump stated that illegal immigrants from Mexico are criminals and that they pay very little in taxes is blatantly false and therefore, an invalid argument. Illegal immigrants pay their fair share of taxes to the government. An inductive argument directly related to this is that the person hired to investigate Trump University had a Hispanic last name therefore forcing Trump to try to fire him for his Mexican heritage. Trump thinks that if all illegal Mexican are criminals and the person hired to investigate Trump University has a Hispanic last name therefore, that person must be an illegal Mexican. Trump did make some very valid arguments which are good ways to evaluate deductive arguments, in that the flow of illegal immigrants…

Donald Trump was an unexpected runner for this year’s presidential election. At first, many people thought his running for the presidency was a joke. Unfortunately, as time went on, what many thought to be a joke suddenly became more serious as more and more people began to show him support and he shows no sign of dropping out anytime soon. Which is unfortunate since much of what he says is far from being presidential, let alone professional. From what I’ve seen of his speeches and debates, he often makes terrible statements about other candidates as well as other groups of people, building off of peoples hate to rally more support.…

Domestic tranquility in the United States is outlined by the Constitution and can be better understood as the way in which society lives in harmony (Wilson). Unfortunately, society has not reached a state of tranquility yet. This can be traced to ideas of racism, sexism, and other means of discrimination in the United States. Although some strides have been made to try and counteract these modes of discrimination, society has recently taken a step back in its development towards a tranquil state. Specifically, the rhetoric used by Donald Trump has been linked to ideas of racism and sexism.…

In this assignment I will attempt to unpack Donald Trump’s logic in the tweet above. Explicitly, Trump’s tweet in its current arrangement appears to be a disjunctive/hypothetical syllogism hybrid: P1: We, as a country, either have borders or we don 't. C : If we don 't have borders, we don 't have a country. Being charitable and filling in implicit premises, Trump’s argument takes on the following format: P1: All countries have borders P2:…
