The Trevor Project has goals that have to be achieved for the fiscal year of 2015. The Trevor Project endures daily responsibilities and continuing plans that aid in saving lives and for the year 2015, they will focus on attaining four main priorities in the fiscal year 2015. These main issues are reaching the youth, refining their online community, creating groundbreaking data and ensuring development and stability (The Trevor Project, 2015). The Trevor Project’s target audience are LGBTQ young people and as well as young and older people who interact with them. Evidently, individuals who have strong beliefs or values towards an issue, message or object are ego-involved. Other scholars; Sereno and Mortensen, claim that ego-involvement as “the importance or relevance of the topic to an individual as revealed by the person’s commitment or stand on the issue” Onyekwere, Rubin, & Infante (1991) (p.37). Therefore, a person’s attitude toward a topic of discussion must be pertinent, important, suitable and/or noteworthy in order to be ego- involved Onyekwere, Rubin, & Infante (1991). There are three regions along a continuum, which categorize what a person finds acceptable or unacceptable. These three regions are known as the latitude of acceptance, the latitude of rejection and the latitude of non-commitment Social Judgment Theory (2008). In the latitude of acceptance, that person deems every entity or issue on a continuum acceptable. The anchor point is derived from the latitude of acceptance, which means those are a person’s most favored position Seiter (2009). The new message idea for The Trevor Project is to have the audience create a video message showing One Love; the heart symbol in any shape or form, to everyone all around. That message will be uploaded via any social media platform online. The challenge is to fashion a creative way of showing “One Love To All,” then tag other friends or family to partake in the trend. The colors of “One Love To All” must be representing LGBTQ young
