Egil's Saga

The story of Egil’s Saga begins with the characterization of many characters. The author begins with the depiction of the man named Ulf. Ulf was the son of bjalfi and also the son of Hallbera. Hallbera was the daughter of ulf’s grandfather, also named ulf. The story then goes on and talks about the ancestry of Hallbjorn. Hallbjron was a half troll from an area named hrafnista. The story then shifts and goes into the character of ulf. Ulf was an extraordinary person accomplishing many things at a young age. According to Egils’ saga, Ulf became a Viking while only at a very young age. Ulf was called Kvedulf. Ulf also had a friend with the name Kari. They were so close to the point that they shared everything. When kari came back he had three kids: oliver hump,l and eyvind Lamb and a daughter that goes by the name Salborj. Ulf married his daughter, Salborj. When Kari Kari was the type of person that was selfless and did great things. The story then shifts to talk about Ulf’s two sons: throlf and grim. The author then goes on to discusses his success in Norway, and how he told himself that he wont touch his hair while waiting for his rule of Norway. King Harald fought his brothers hrollaug and herlaug. He defeated many areas and territories until he became the king of the area.
