2. The population Eggleston provides services for is foster youth referred by the Department of Children and Family Services ages 0-21. Eggleston Family Services provides services to all races and ethnicity. However, the majority of the population served by the agency is Hispanic and African American children, including both males and females. Eggleston’s finds home for babies, children with special needs, teenage mothers and their babies, and LGBTQ youth.

Eggleston Family Services is able to work effectively with other agencies to ensure the well being of the minors. Eggleston is able to refer clients to outside agencies for many different services.
5. Eggleston is a non-profit agency that receives its fund from the State. The federal government provides funds to states to administer child welfare programs including foster care. Eggleston also receives funding from private donations.
6. The limitation Eggleston has include not having he ability to communicate with the county social worker in an efficient manner. There are many instances where the county social worker does not reply to email phone calls or text messages. From my experience CSW do not attend wraparound team meetings

(4) Gang Reduction and Youth Development Foundation-6080 Center Dr. #600 Los Angeles, CA 90045 (323) 242-5674 The GRYD Foundation is proud to support the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction & Youth Development (GRYD Office) in its efforts to reduce gang-related violence and to strengthen individuals, families and entire communities. The agency offers three different programs “Summer Night Lights, Tattoo Removal and Anonymous Gun Buyback.”
