Egg Experiment Lab Report

The purpose of this experiment was to verify whether the properties of eggs change with various types of liquids into each eggs. I plan to use acids, neutral and bases liquids. However, acids liquids are a very acid substances that reactive. In the other hand, bases and neutrals liquids are unreactive substances. The procedure involved 6 liquids, 6 cups, and 6 eggs. On each cup I added 8oz of every different liquids then added the eggs. For last, I checked every 4 hours to see what reactions was taking places. As a result, it concluded that acids liquids took less amount of time for the reaction of the egg to happen then base and neutral did. Base and neutral took more time for the reaction of the egg to happen. In conclusion, various

    My hypothesis was correct because the results show the mass decreasing when put in maple syrup and the mass increasing when put in the vinegar and distilled water as you can see in the results.     Once the egg was decalcified, it felt very fragile and bouncy. When the egg didn’t have a shell anymore, it was kept from seeping out by the “plasma membrane” (egg white), which was congealed by the soaking in vinegar.
