Egg Drop The egg drop project was a way to see nature’s effect on itself for example, how an egg can survive a fall? It combine a majority aspect of physics, Velocity (both initial and final), Acceleration, Displacement, and Time to find how fast the egg within the vessel will go when drop from the top of a rail in the back of the school. Initial Velocity will determine the speed the egg left its initial position, the final velocity will determine the speed of the egg before crashing, Time (in Second) will tell how long the egg was in the air, Acceleration will tell how fast it went, and Displacement will tell us how far it went. The vessel that transporting was barely scratch, the project was a success, the vessel held the egg inside and with all the sponge to absorb all the shock from the fall, and a box on the outside to prevent the momentum from crushing the egg inside the sponge, which left the egg intact. The design of the vehicle could have been improved to reduce weight, and increase the security of the egg inside the sponge. A majority of the natural force that would have affected the egg was expected, things such as, momentum, gravity, air, and the ground were the egg was going to fall on. The egg was dropped from the top of rail which was five meter high. Before starting the project, it required all aspect of physics which are Initial Velocity, Final Velocity, Displacement, Acceleration, and Time, all of these are part of the project as whole. It helps us find speed, and distance, the Acceleration and gravity is the same because it was dropped and not thrown which means that the speed it will fall will be 9.81 m/s. By combining all of the data, the egg speed was found, it was 9.81 m/s identical to gravity, also, the vessel’s mass, and the density of the object was very light and was able to protect the egg and leave it without a
