This allows for the good immigrants to still have freedom without being deported without reason. In many community's the police are abusing their power and taking many 'suspected' illegal immigrants so for the policy to be passed it has been a relief to many immigrants.…

Employers relish in the higher income they receive when they pay illegal immigrants lower because it causes their businesses to be more productive (Hanson, 2010). Illegal immigrants may not have a huge impact on the economy overall, but they do what they can to win what they have in…

Final result: worker gets much lower pay (essentially payroll withholding) which results more taxes being paid into the U.S. and State treasuries (due to higher profits for the illegal employers). Many illegal employers know their Mexican laborers are illegal, but nonetheless withhold payroll taxes from their paychecks, and rather than pay those taxes to the government, simply pocket them. Quite often the employer will not realize that the Mexican is illegal, and so will go ahead and withhold payroll taxes and pay them to the government.…

Regardless, there are those who believe illegal immigrants are beneficial to the economy because they do the hard work others don’t want to for less and they produce on average 1.2 jobs, however, there are also those who oppose illegal immigration because of popular beliefs that they cost too much money to host or are taking advantage of the opportunities this country offers in a negative way. It is essential to evaluate and formulate an opinion based on the hard evidence that has been reported about illegal immigration in the past. Nonetheless, illegal immigration is an issue that has both negative and positive effects on the country and it is vital to address this problem in a way that doesn’t violate the foundation this country was built on and one that targets the issue straight…

A major concern, and probably the most to take in consideration, for illegal immigration, harming the economy are the employees correlating to the jobs available, which most of the time leads to displacement in immigrants. “Every year on average 2.5 million jobs, whom were previous held by Caucasians or previous immigrants are taken by new coming immigrants who often perform the same amount of work while receiving half the pay” (www.EconomyPolicyInstitute.org), this still shows a huge gain from what they would be earning or they would have not emigrated from their country for a better job. A recent ongoing search case which occurred on May 8, 2015 in southern California involving The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) where…

However everything is not picture perfect. These aliens are taking the spots of American citizen jobs, leaving a percentage of society unemployed and out of a perfectly good opportunity. In the construction industry, 20% of the employees are illegal immigrants, leisure hospitality has 17% undocumented workers, 13% in manufacturing, and 4% in agriculture (Brown 423). Companies hire undocumented citizens because the illegal immigrants are willing to work long hours in return for low wages.
