Introduction
Transplant tourism has become popular in these years. The shortage of organs in patients' home country encourages the transplant tourism industry to expand quickly as patients can travel overseas to obtain a transplant (Nicolaides and Smith, 2009). However, more problems are coming up with the increasing demand for the transplant, and the problems should not be neglected. This report will first analyse the possible causes and effects of transplant tourism on recipients and donors, and then will give some suggestions to tackle the problems arising from the transplant tourism.

Michigan State University (2012) even found out that some of the people t in third world countries don't have a concept of what a liver is and believed what the brokers said is correct, that selling the organs can get them rich. These misconceptions also lead to the existence of transplant.
Effects of transplant tourism
Apart from the causes of transplant tourism, in order to find out the solutions to this issue in the later part, following is two main consequences of transplant tourism based on recipients and donors' perspectives.
Transmission of diseases
Jafar (2009, as cited in Nicolaides and Smith, 2012) discovered that many transplant surgeries are carried out at private profit-generating hospitals, and most of them are not licensed to provide the service. Therefore, safety and quality of the care services may not up to standard, increasing the chance of patients being infected with HIV, hepatitis and West Nile Virus by the transplant (Kelly, 2013; Nicolaides and Smith, 2012). Furthermore, transplant tourism will make the spread of antibiotic-resistant become easier. Due to profit-making brokers' negotiation, donor only gets a very little amount of compensation, but the following negative health outcome bring about the disruption in working. Some of the donors cannot walk for a long time and have difficulties in breathing. They may not be able to work for a long time and earn less money than before, which turns out that the financial problems to be re-occurred.
