Time, as it is known, is an important resource that everyone possesses (equally) but come utilization, where there is total failure because of varied reasons of an individual. The asset cannot be either purchased or changed in any way. The only secret of achieving greater things in life is managing time effectively by sufficiently emphasizing on planning so as to meet set goals. Time management is essential to every individual, especially campus student who encounters hectic schedule packed with various activities and class lessons. Setting goals and priorities, while monitoring the time usage, facilitates productivity. This in the end reduces stress, maintains balance, working effectively and finally academic success, needed

Females students brought about a positive result in terms of time management, because they are more effective unlike their male counterpart. The comparative importance of the variables, for example; time consumer, time attitude and time planning, had a very important effect on the achievement of the students academically. The results from the study conducted by Sevari and Kandy (2011), showed that in conducting time management training on the students, it increases their academic performance and influential self-efficacy. While exploring the relations between academic success and time management of African students, Swart et al. (2010) result showed less significant relations was exhibited in the study, thus reasoned that it has less bearing because of the subject …show more content…
The efficiency scale is based on how well the student who participated in the study, claimed to have used their time accordingly.
Tanriogen and Iscan (2009) established that the attitude of time management and skills level within Prince Mohammed University students against their academic achievements. The paper investigated time management amongst female undergraduate students, and established that because of their behaviors influenced their time management skills to a greater extent. While noting that female students as compared with their male counterparts, they were to be more effective when it comes to managing time.
According to Macan, et al. (1990), study has reported the evidence for a multidimensional construct nature of time management in that, management of time involves setting priorities and goals, use of mechanics, time control and organizing the workplace according to one’s preference.
