Can putting a border wall between the U.S and Mexico really protect American jobs and reduce crime without having any other issues? It was said that Mexico and the U.S depend on each other for various reasons and if they are having conflicts, then many things can go wrong with that issue including social and economical problems. It is a catastrophic issue because not only will it impact the citizens, but it will impact the environment and the animals that live around the area negatively as well. In the text it stated that “serving the U.S-Mexico relationship would be devastating to both the U.S and Mexico, to both our economies because of the number of jobs that depend on that relationship. In the U.S, he adds, about 5 million jobs depend on trade with Mexico.” Without the U.S and Mexico relationship/alliance being gone, then that means that all of those people will be left without a job because the alliance of Mexico and the U.S will be gone and other jobs that are related to the border will consequently be gone. Those are a lot of jobs that depend on their alliance and it is not fair to those people that will be affected because of that because the jobs are lost. The people also didn’t have any say in this choice whether to build the wall or not and this is important for the people to have a say in this because this act would affect them as well.The wall will also affect their trade that they have with each other for multiple reasons, one huge reason is that they will be mad at each other and Mexico would not want to give anything to the U.S because of what trump declared(he stated that Mexico would have to pay for the wall but Mexico refused to pay anything at all) and that probably made them mad enough to lose their alliance. Someone else might argue that the wall will reduce crime by keeping out terrorists and other people that might pose a threat to the U.S but in reality they really can’t keep everyone else out because they are just putting an obstacle across but eventually they will find a way to get across because they are not really doing anything and that is basically making the wall useless if they cannot contain other people out. Other people might also argue that the wall will protect American jobs due to the fact that the wall is basically keeping out the so called “immigrants” and they say that they are the ones that are taking out all the American jobs but their statements are all false and is quite the opposite to what they are saying because many jobs depend on Mexicans and with the alliance of Mexico and the U.S so the topic would be controversial for many reasons. Other people may also argue that the population of immigrants coming to the U.S are still going to come and they will never stop coming because there will always be a reason to come here. Their arguments are flawed because they have no real proof that the wall will work against immigrants and other people that can pose
