As a college student, I know that going to college is stressful for everybody. Because college life has become a lot more competitive, it is much harder to get into schools, and it has gotten a lot more expensive, the stress is present whether one is in the first year of college or in the last year. This stress can also lead students to unplanned situation like, drinking alcohols and taking drugs, which can harmful to them. Even though, college students face a lot of stress that can negatively impact their lives, time management can help students to relieve their stress. First, the financial stress of college students can lead them to get work. According to Best Colleges.com, “many students are independent of their parent after graduation from high school”. Some students have to work in part-time to support their tuition and living expense after class. Also, the peer-pressure stress in college students can make them to poor self-image. In other words, they cannot be able to treat others according to their needs and are likely spinning others’ misfortunes to their own ego’s advantage. Moreover, the imminent examination can lead students to cheat during the test. Sometimes students think that they cannot do well on a test, either they are not smart enough, or they lack some skills they need. It creates a feeling they will fail, and their only option to do well is to cheat. The first manner that can help students to relieve their stress in time management is by making a plan. According to CreditCards.com, “financial worries are related to lack of information of or wrong information”. Having a plan can help students to know where all of their money is going, make changes if needed and create some emergency savings. The second reason that can help students to relieve their peer-pressure is by thinking positive. According to Caregiving, “a little positive thinking can go a long way”. Realize that it is perfectly natural to feel guilty or overwhelmed at a time. The third way that can help students to release their bad grade stress is by asking for help. Approaching to instructors and setting up a meeting is often the most effective way to learn from bad grade. Asking help to instructors about the past exams sometimes show up which questions should be clearer next time. So, improving time management skills can help students to relieve their
