The police showed up not much longer after that, but there was nothing they could do. The man in the truck was very cooperative and did exactly what the police told him to do. It is not known where the man is now, but it is thought that he is going to court soon. Also, The boy that saw the incident said that the truck was moving very fast and had pointed it out to his mother before the incident. Right before the incident the boy on the scooter was practicing bunny hops, and was showing off to all his friends. After the incident, a few boys and their parents and even the truck driver went to go help the child. When the police showed up, they helped him stay alive until paramedics arrived, but the child had already died on the scene. Many parents were crying and children were crying or just in shock at what had happened. …show more content…

In conclusion, the child that got hit by a speeding truck while riding his scooter will be missed and the truck driver will most likely get jail time or have to do probation.
