Effects on Social Networking Sites Do you know the affects social media is having on you! The immediacy provided by social media is available to predators. According to Connell University’s Steven Strogatz social media sites can make it more difficult to for us to distinguish between the meaningful relationships we foster in the real world. I Believe that social network have a negative impact on society because of cyberbullying, a false sense of connection, and privacy. Do you know because of this it could break our social norms and our communication with each other including ourselves. “Social relationships, by their very nature, are transactional. Relationships engaged in various theaters of social media even when these relationship exist”. People today never notice how social media could affect our communication today in the world. Before technology gotten bigger it was easy because you would know who 's calling you or people would just visit you. Nowadays technology is so popular that almost everyone is using it you have dating websites and social media in our life you don 't know who you talking to and that 's kind of scary because what if you one of those people that are using a dating website, you don 't know what that person is capable of doing they could be very dangerous without you knowing and once that person hurt you, you don 't want to meet anybody else inside of this world. I think it 's better off if you meet people in person. Social media is making us antisocial because people are too attached to their cell phones. Social media is also helping the spread of unreliable information. False information is being thrown around too easily on social media. Using fake profiles on sites such as Facebook, Twitter and many other sites use the false connection i suggest it as to manipulate people. Social tools are creating a challenge to society. This is mainly because instead of using social media as a tool people have started to replace their social life with social media is the same as interacting in real life. Social media has helped share a lot of content amongst the people it also has created a false sense of belief in minds of people that the relationships can be built on such interactions and sharing. It could affect us in the worst way with our identity being taken away from us without many knowing. How so with posting personal information that need to be kept to yourself instead of it being on the network can cause a huge problem. social network cause harm to our children if we are not monitoring them, they might be out harming other children why you think they are using the internet
