In this new modern world, smart phones have become a popular and famous gadget and it’s becoming more important nowadays to teenagers. Smart phones are considered as a necessity in a teenager’s life and have greatly influenced our lifestyle at the moment. Without using smart phones, teenagers will feel like not up to date and not live in modern life. The smart phones have the advantages and disadvantages, but still addict to smart phones can give problems. With the emergence of the internet that can access anything without borders, and appearance of many social apps such as Instagram, Tweeter, Facebook, Wechat and Whatapps make teenagers more addicted to using smart phones.

Many things can we do to overcome this problem before it becomes more serious and give more effects to youngsters. As parents, they must limit their children’s using the telephone at home. It is to make sure that their children more communicated with them. As a parent, they should know how to make their children feel loving with them around. Give them freedom, but not make it easy. According to Luksich (2011) again, she said that parents should limit their children cell phone usage at dinner tables and it’s the perfect time parents to discipline their children and spend time together. Parents should spend their time together with their children and not do not let their children be affected by mobile phone, always monitor them. Other than that, teenagers should limit their time using smart phones. When time bed they should lessen their smart phones using and sleep. They should off their phones to make sure they bedtimes were not being disturbed. (Grise, 2015) said before bed teenagers should do the relaxing activity such as reading a book. Even they want to check their cell phones; they just need to see for a while. This activity has recommended by scientists that involved with the NSF. The teenagers should use the smart phones as smart as possible, and not using only for fun. The appropriate measures must be taken to overcome this problem from becoming more serious. As teenagers, we should know how to divide our time from using the smart phones and time for us without smart phones. We cannot rule out the development of technologies, but still we can prevent it from giving us the negative impact, as users we should wisely use and control it. Hope with this way we can prevent ourselves from becoming too obsessed with
