Police brutality is the use of excessive and/or necessary force by police when dealing with civilians. Police killings, brutality, and unfair acts are happening all around the world. Many blacks are losing their lives due to unequal rights and police killings overseas. How would one feel to die to an unfair act? These acts usually takes place in the east coast of South America in Rio de Janeiro, a large global issue that no one really pays attention to, is a huge problem. Despite the promise Legacy of a safe city for hosting the Olympic Games, killings by the police have been steadily increasing over the past few years in Rio (“Brazil: Surge in killings by police sparks fear in favelas ahead of Rio Olympics” NP). Police brutality in Rio de Janeiro is an ongoing problem causing a negative effect to the people.They are ; over killing people & getting away with it, not arresting people correctly, and are killing a certain race, but resolutions have been in part to resolve the issue by:teaching the officers more strict training & better community
