Military Spouses high rate unemployment is no more a secret in our society, especially when they are located overseas. Military spouses are sacrificing their careers to accommodate the rigid demands of their service member's profession. A major feature of military spouse quality of life is the ability, if one chooses, to pursue employment or a career. However, research shows that military spouses have difficulty finding jobs and most of the time are underemployed or only get the minimum wage when employed. Spouses does experience the same difficulties when living in Vilseck, Germany where finding a job become more challenging as the opportunity and options are limited unlike in the United State (U.S). There are many reasons why spouses are unable to get jobs that they want while being stationed with their sponsor (husband) in Germany especially in rose Barracks Vilseck. These kinds of issues are certainly not without consequences on military families as it is almost impossible to depend on only one income, thus spouse having a decent job is really important.

However, it also shows that not only the above issues prevent spouses from working even if they are the major causes, there is many other reason such as deployment, Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move and many other reasons that goes with being a military spouses. Often, spouses choose to delay formal training and education in order to support the needs of the nation and their warrior partner, I feel like this something that should be rewarded by having job available for them when they are ready to
