These people obviously are not aware of how intimidating schools are to children with traditional teachers. Convicts would not be dangerous. They would be just as dangerous as the teachers that students have today. Former prisoners, like traditional teachers, would stress out the students and constantly give them quizzes and tests. They, like traditional teachers, would encourage their students to achieve success. Others may object by saying the freeing of prisoners would result in a rise in crime in the U.S. To this, I would simply say that these convicts would refrain from these actions because they would not want to return to prison. No country should have such a great amount of prisoners under any circumstances. Here in Canada, there is no problem with incarceration. It is quite upsetting to see a neighboring country struggle to deal with those who disrespect the law. The U.S. should adopt my proposal because it benefits their incarceration problem and their educational problem. Today, my country ranks seventh in education and has a far less incarceration rate than the struggling United States. Although I was homeschooled in my younger years, I know my proposal will have a positive effect on U.S. schools. Even though Canada has a far lower incarceration rate than the U.S., it does not mean that we are better people. I have been arrested and have gone to prison before. It has been a struggle to obtain a job ever since that unpleasant experience. Americans have to understand the consequences of their actions so they can live pleasant and productive
