Rutherford stated that CASA of San Francisco’s court report is not much different than the general one that the National CASA Association provides and requires to be completed (personal communication, December 7,2016). CASA of San Francisco, kept all the required information from the original court report, but attaches a separate document that provides the judge with how the client is doing in school, if they are compliment with treatment, whether it be therapy, drug and alcohol treatment, or probation (J. Rutherford, personal communication, December 7,2016). The separate document also contains information about CASA worker’s most recent visit with client and any opinions and/or requests that they might have about their situation. J. Rutherford communicated that the judges in their human trafficking court rooms, give CASA workers the chance to speak, in which they utilize it to praise the client for their strides and also vocalize the client’s desires (personal communication, December 7,2016). According to J. Rutherford, the clients love when their CASA worker informs the judge of their wants because some get nervous speaking to the judge directly (personal communication, December 7,2016).
