Effects Of Football Vs. 11 On American Football

American Football Is a high impact sport that is played in either the formation of 11 vs. 11 or 9 vs. 9. The popular form is 11 vs. 11 and it is played worldwide including major leagues such as the NFL (National Football League) or the NCAA (National College athlete associate). American Football has different variations that include flag football and touch football. These two variation are none contact and do not require protective gear as would be needed in tackle football. A professional American Football game is usually 60 minutes long divided in 15 minute quarters.
As the NFL states, in tackle football special gear is required. Football players use cleats with studs that go above your ankles to allow smoother motion and better protection for the ankle, they also have a girdle and pants which carry hamstring pads, a tail bone pad, hip pads and knee pads. On their chests football players have shoulders pads which over them usually a jersey which is usually tight (to prevent people from easily grabbing it during the game). Football players also wear a helmet and a mouth guard to prevent concussions.

You score a field goal by kicking the ball in between the two poles in the end zone of the opponents’ side. A touchdown is worth 6 points and is scored when a player crosses the goal line while having possession of the ball. After a touchdown is scored the offense have a chance to score an extra point which is worth either 1 or 2 points. If the offense decides to try to score a field goal and they succeed they earn 1 point. Another option is earning 2 points and this is called a two point conversion and happens when a team tries to run or pass the ball into the end zone after a touchdown.
