"These days the technology can solve our problems and then some. Solutions may not only erase physical or mental deficits but leave patients better off than 'able-bodied ' folks. The person who has a disability today may have a super ability tomorrow " - (Daniel H. Wilson). Disabilities has created many barriers for people that prevents them from completing everyday tasks independently. It causes tension between the affected and family, friends. They would need assistance to do many tasks and it causes others to feel like they do not have time to themselves. From using a computer for reading or typing documents to communicating with others proves to be daunting. Some disabilities prevents the person from speaking clearly and form sentences that does not seem to make a whole lot of sense. While other disabilities causes learning difficult to understand. Technology has allowed people with disabilities to have an easier time accomplishing tasks on their own. The term disability can be understood in two ways a physical or mental condition that limits a person 's movements, senses, or activities and a disadvantage or handicap, especially one imposed or recognized by the law. Technology has a positive impact on the lives of the disabled because it improves physical disabilities, social interaction and employment opportunities.
