To the British they were used to traditional clothing which to them was pants and shirt and boots but to Africans that wasn’t the case. Not only was culture in the religion of learning but also in what the Africans wore. When the British came they changed the way the dresses and established to the Africans a more decent clothing that what ultimately fit the British criteria. British came in changed their look because they felt that it was indecent outfit to where. Also, another thing that changed was the way Africans made their food in. Many of the things the British brought over was pots and cooking spoons. This point of view makes sense because when the British came over they helped the Africans by teaching them new medicines that helped save people lives. They came over and the British weren’t stingy about their discoveries but were willing to share information that would benefit everyone.
