Cyberbullying seems like it would be the easiest to stop, but it is not. I sometimes wonder why do the victims not just turn off the computer, or delete their account. I think the issue with cyberbullying has a lot to do with kids at school. I plan on being a teacher, and bullying is one of my biggest fears. I can not stand to see someone being put down or feeling belittle. These issues have caused several problems over the years. It takes the form public humiliation, embarrassment, and much more. The reason it is done online is because, it is much faster and easier for the suspect to reach his or her victim. They do this by showing embarrassing pictures, videos, or messages of the person. Cyberbullying can take the form of threats that are very direct to the child, this can be done psychically. We should care that this is happening because it damages the person, and it only puts them down. If this was happening to your kid then you would want something to be stopped. Their view of themselves suddenly decreases, meaning they lose their self esteem, plus their sense of physical safety. This all takes huge hits on the victim when any type of bullying is being involved. One in Three kids say they have been cyberbullied. It has been reported that 40% of kids say their cyberbullying took place on instant messenger, and all types of social media websites that being 30%, and lastly 29% said they were bullied on some type of online gaming site. (Common Sense Media). This is happening to girls and boys of all ages. I do not understand how a human being can send out embarrassing things or hurtful words to someone just to make them feel useless.
