Oxygen has been found lingering in the upper atmosphere on Mars. So why doesn't life exist on the planet? Well for one, it's atomic oxygen. Perhaps one day aliens thrived on the red planet, prancing about in lush green fields with waterfalls of gold. As we know, that's far from the case now. So what happened? Until NASA gives us a logical answer, we might as well say the devil is responsible for the planet's destruction.

In space, there is a great deal of UV radiation. This radiation breaks apart O2 and creates atomic oxygen. Now, this devil of an oxygen makes up the top layer of the red planet. Here, atoms and molecules escape into space. If that seems like a slow, cruel way to kill a planet, it is. Aliens could have been the victim of a devil inspired apocalypse.
