Before participants could start treatment, Titov, Andrews, and Schwencke used statistical research to identify characteristics of patients that could benefit from the computerized treatment and effectiveness of computer program. Applicants were asked to fill out a demographic questionnaire. Applicants had to also answer the Anxiety Change Expectancy Questionnaire and Credibility/ Expectancy Questionnaire. Candidates with severe depression did not participate in the experiment and were asked to speak to therapists to discuss their depression (Nickolai Titov et al.,2008).

How long were the patients able to overcome the patients able to overcome social phobia without the use of the computer program and therapist? Another consideration the study could benefit from would be to measure if using with the computer with a therapist or use of the computer program without a therapist would reduce social phobia. I also think that the treatment and waitlist group should have performed the treatments at the same time. The experiment said the waitlist group waited until the treatment group finished the lessons in ten weeks. The treatment and waitlist groups should have performed their lessons at around the same time. There could have been environmental factors that could have affected the study. Treatment and waitlist should perform at same
